Quest

 

At the start of the year I bought a VR headset and was blown away by how immersive the experience was. I also discovered how huge the possibilities are for working in 3D in VR.

The ability to walk around your scene and interact with it made some tedious tasks be done in a fraction of the time and fun to do. So on and off for the better part of this year I’ve been working on this project.

I wanted to capture the feeling of being transported to a different world, while also incorporating elements that I had created in VR in the project and trying to figure out a good workflow to tie them all together.

Programs Used:

Cinema 4D, Houdini, Octane, Redshift, Adobe Medium, After Effects, Davinci Resolve, Marvelous Designer

Process

 

An important part of this project for me was exploring new techniques and experimenting with workflows from VR to final product.
