Organic Sculpture Collection
Organic Sculpture Collection
The Organic Sculpture Collection was a personal project I started to experiment with new software and different work flows. I wanted to explore the idea of materials breaking the mold, showing ceramic sculptures transforming from their original solid form into something new. The sculptures were modelled in Houdini and I also used Houdini’s vellum solver for the simulations. Substance Painter was then used to paint the ceramics, which gave the most freedom to paint the models like you would a real ceramic sculpture, giving them a realistic look although being computer generated. All lighting and texturing was then done in Cinema 4D with Redshift used as the render engine.
